Huffington Post: Andrew Breitbart Died Of Heart Failure, Coroner Rules

April 22, 2012- The Los Angeles County coroner's office has ruled that conservative blogger and commentator Andrew Breitbart died of heart failure stemming from coronary disease.
Coroner spokesman Craig Harvey said Friday that a negligible amount of alcohol was found in Breitbart's system but no prescription or illicit drugs.
Harvey says foul play is not suspected and the case has been closed.
Breitbart, 43, died March 2 at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center after collapsing as he was walking his dog near his Brentwood home.

March 1, 2012- Andrew Bretibart died today during a pitched Twitter war defending James O’Keefe. We have long advocated for accountability in the courts for Mr. Breitbart and Mr. O’Keefe because of their lawlessness, intolerance and smear campaigns. Sometimes, however, accountability comes in other ways from a greater power than the courts.
Mr. Breitbart carried hate in his heart. He raged at liberals, Occupiers, Muslims, Democrats, and women. He used his mouthpiece to cause divisions and to foment violence. He caused immeasurable hurt and suffering to a great many people. Last month, he spewed invectives and blind rage at the CPAC Conference, causing many people, mostly on the left, to call for him to seek professional help for himself. Instead, he continued raging against his imagined enemies until his heart could no longer take it.
New Campaign For Accountability
IndictBreitbart.org is a new campaign to seek accountability for the violations of criminal law committed by Andrew Breitbart, James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles. O’Keefe and Giles illegally and surreptitiously recorded employees of the Baltimore ACORN office in the summer of 2009 and then their employer Breitbart illegally published their edited versions online in order to harm ACORN. This is a grassroots campaign to let law enforcement officials in Maryland know that ordinary citizens want accountability.
Since that illegal conduct occurred, numerous official reports have come out showing that O'Keefe, Giles and Breitbart acted illegally/unethically with regard to their ACORN recordings. Those reports are listed here. Also, James O'Keefe has been arrested and convicted for tampering with the phones in Senator Mary Landrieu's office, and he is under investigation for attempting to lure a CNN reporter on to a boat in Maryland for nefarious purposes. Andrew Breitbart was responsible for posting an edited recording of Department of Agriculture employee Shirley Sherrod which resulted in her improper firing. A subsequent investigation determined that she did nothing wrong and should be reinstated.

April 27, 2012- Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-N.Y.) notified the Capitol Police Thursday after receiving threatening phone calls, after a video of her appearing to criticize the Tea Party was posted on several conservative websites, according to a release from her office.
The video was first posted to Breitbart TV, created by the late conservative commentator Andrew Breitbart, and then picked up by Glenn Beck's website, The Blaze.

May 2, 2012- Early last week, Dana Loesch and Andrew Breitbart's websites started pushing a story claiming that professors at UMKC and UMSL were encouraging their students to use violence and industrial sabotage to further political ends. The videos immediately looked sketchy, with strangely edited clips cobbled together. Though the bureaucracies of the universities and the unions slowed down a response to the attacks from well-known con artist Andrew Breitbart, UMKC professor Judy Ancel released a statement documenting that the videos were maliciously edited to put words into the mouths of the professors. On Friday, Crooks and Liars and Media Matters both released video that clearly demonstrated that the story being pushed by Loesch and Breitbart was completely fabricated via creative chop-shop editing.

April 18, 2012- James O'Keefe, the conservative activist who has gained national publicity with his controversial ambush videos, made some pretty provocative charges in an appearance before the Oregon Tea Party this weekend -- but he didn't back it up with any actual video.
O'Keefe said he went undercover on a trip with the Portland-based Bus Project – a group that has worked with several Democratic politicians and that encourages young people to get involved in politics – and found "potential drug abuse" and underage drinking. And he made an apparent reference to Gov. John Kitzhaber by saying the "former governor or current governor [was] involved in it."

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The District of Columbia Board of Elections today condemned a video circulating on the Internet that shows a person misrepresenting his identity at District polling places on Election Day. The Board confirmed that it is investigating multiple incidents that occurred on Tuesday, April 3.
